    The Science Museum

    The Science Museum is a major museum located on Exhibition Road in South Kensington, London. It was founded in 1857 and today is one of the city's major tourist attractions, attracting 3.3 million visitors annually.

     

    The Science museum was founded in 1857 by Bennet Woodcroft.

     

    The Science Museum includes a collection of machinery which became the Museum of Patents in 1858. This collection contained many of the most well-known and famous exhibits.

    Sunday -10am – 18.00pm

    Open daily: 10.00 (last entry 17.15).

    Galleries start to close 30 minutes before the museum closes.
