The Natural History Museum is located Exhibition Road in South Kensington, London. It is a natural history museum that exhibits a vast range of specimens from various segments of Natural history. Being one of three major museums on Exhibition Road in South Kensington, the Natural History Museum's main frontage, however, is on Cromwell Road.
The museum is home to earth science displaying over 80 million items within 5 Main Collections: botany, entomology, mineralogy, palaeontology and zoology. The museum is a centre of research specialising in taxonomy, identification and conservation. Including Displays such as: ornate architecture, exhibition of dinosaur skeletons, extensive books, journals, a Restaurant for visitors along with Museum Stores.
Entry to the Natural History Museum is free. There are admission charges for some of the special exhibitions and events.
