Hadrian's Wall also known as the Roman Wall or Vallum Hadriani Wall in Latin. The wall was a defensive fortification in the Roman province of Britannia which begun in AD 122 in the reign of the emperor Hadrian.
For around three centuries the Hadrian’s Wall was a multi-cultured, vibrant frontier sprawling almost 80 miles coast-to-coast. It was Built in under 6 years by a force of 15,000 men.
